About Us
Rhidorroch Highland Estate
Our family’s journey at Rhidorroch Estate began in 1956 when Kim’s grandparent purchased the property, passing it down to Kim’s parents, Ewen and Jenny, who poured their dedication into creating a beloved holiday destination that soon became a favourite among regular guests.
In 2018, Kim and Charles took over the family business, making Rhidorroch their home and devoting themselves full-time to its care. Charles manages the farm, maintaining the estate’s daily operations with a passion for gamekeeping and all things sporting. Kim oversees the hospitality side, delighting in working her dogs on the farm and exploring the hills she grew up in.
In recent years, we have modernised the cottages with sustainable, off-grid energy systems, including solar power. Rhidorroch House now benefits from an enhanced hydro-power system, and we’re currently upgrading Cadubh Cottage to meet the same standards.
Our efforts are supported by a wonderful team, including Graham, our dedicated stalker of 30 years; Mike, our ghillie and resident honey expert; and Carena, George, and Viv, who bring a special sparkle to the estate.
Rhidorroch holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to share its beauty and warmth with our guests. We look forward to welcoming you to this haven in the Highlands.
